beautiful gardens and close to historical landmarks make great weekend
I had a fantastic time roaming the beautiful Beth Chatto Gardens just under 4 km away and exploring the rich history at St Botolph's Priory about 3.5 km from the venue, which made my city walks so enjoyable and fulfilling. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more delightful with their warm hospitality.

The stay was lovely, especially enjoying the dining experience at the on-site restaurant. The staff were proactive and attentive, ensuring everything was going well while we savored the delightful food. I appreciated the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful grounds, making it a great place for relaxation after a long day exploring the nearby attractions. the elevator access could be better signposted and the twin beds felt quite small for comfort.

The stay featured a beautifully decorated room with excellent attention to detail, like swan towels and birthday confetti, which made for a delightful celebration. The comfort of the room was notable, providing a quiet environment for relaxation. the dining experience fell short with slow service and subpar food quality, particularly the poorly prepared fish and chips. Breakfast was also disappointing, with a lack of fresh options and poorly curated fruits. This contrasts sharply with the lovely hotel ambiance and friendly staff.

I thoroughly enjoyed the elegant décor in the hotel's historic areas, and I found the spacious lounges to be very inviting. The flower-filled gardens provided a lovely setting that was easily accessible for seniors like myself.
A more accessible elevator sign would help tremendously.

The team here really knows how to create a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. We loved the peaceful parkland where we could relax, and the room was spacious and comfy, perfect for hanging out with dad. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options!
For dads, it would be great if there were clearer signs leading to reception from the accessibility entrance.

Oh mate, the homemade pastries were a treat for the taste buds! The dining experience left me buzzing, with delightful choices and friendly chats from the staff. The tranquil setting of the hotel was just what I needed for a proper unwind.
Now, I can't deny the prices for drinks were a bit cheeky compared to other spots, and the three-course meal was a right mess with some plates coming late.

Fantastic Stay with Wonderful Service
I really enjoyed my stay, especially the comfortable Classic Room with a modern bathroom and a lovely walk-in shower. The Brasserie restaurant served excellent food, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. I believe the dining options could be a bit more diverse to cater to longer stays.

During my stay, I encountered an exceptional dining experience. The food was tasty, with a variety of choices for everyone. There were nice touches in the service that made everything feel personal. Even the cocktails were enjoyable, making it challenging to choose a favorite. I appreciated the staff who took the time to talk and ask about my day.
